asyafaSinetron is an abbreviation of sinema elektronik or electronic sinema. Sinetron is a type of Indonesian TV series. Most of all Indonesia’s TV stations are dominated by these rubbih called sinetron. Why do I call it rubbish? Because it is not worth watching and I feel sorry for those who like sinetrons. The only thing I would say to them is “Get a life!” If you have time, try to observe these sinetrons, and give me your comments on them. I think you would agree with me if I said that almost all of the stories from one sinetron to the other is similar. Isn’t it ironic, I mean, Indonesia has more than 10 TV stations, but only 2-3 that are worth watching. The government should do something about this. NO! The people should do something, because the government can’t do sh*t. Televison has become a tool to inform the society and through these information they become educated. Education through sinetron??? That’s like going to school where the teachers are Metromini bus drivers (they are considered uneducated because of their stupid driving techniques). Anyway, thank God for the DVD pirates for pirating foreign TV series which are worth-watching. These DVD pirates have better tastes than the management of the TV stations that have broadcasted these unworthy sinetrons. I gotta say that we live in a confused world. DVD pirates are better educators than TV broadcasters?! What a shock! Please submit comments regarding my hatred towards sinetron. Let’s make a better place without sinetron! Say no to sinetron!

It doesn’t EDUCATE at all…. Many parents leave their children with TV. Most of children and moms learn from TV, include SINETRON…. I hate it, but I just can smile.
That’s why, I prefer rent a tv cable.. It’s better for myselt, and my family… and I dont use antenna anymore. I use parental protection for local TV channel
Why our goverment doesn’t act anything….

I Never watch sinetron for almost 3 years. i don’t have television in my boarding house actually. but thats not the main reason.
i just hate talent show,reality show, and sinetron. It seems fake and worthless. The worst thing is, most of them take the story from another movies (J-Dorama, K-Dorama, even Hollywood movies. But most of them taken from J-Dorama).
The original story is better of course, there’s no ‘Sinetron classic scene’ or rubbish act.
that’s why you need more alternative, it doesn’t kill u if u decide to add indovision to your room, if u have to move someday, you still also can bring all the equipment with you

in my opinion they only edit the opening story and then the rest of story is predictable.
